Is this dangerous for my health?

Is it dangerous for young girls to drink sparkling water? I know this sounds silly, but my aunt (who is a nurse) said that drinking sparkling water has been proven to weaken bones and lead to other health problems. She said that this is more prominent in young women and was especially concerned with me because I usually drink a twenty pack of sparkling water in four days! The water I drink has nothing added to it, it is just sparkling mineral water. Can anybody help me?Anything carbonated, including water, is proven to weaken bones. If you are an adolescent, then that is why she is concerned about you. Most adolescents don't eat properly and get enough vitamins and minerals. Calcium is extremely important and now is the time to really strengthen your bones. I would say, just drink regular water, more milk, and don't skip out on fruits and vegetables. Like I said, Drinking regular water is better for you!Its true - carbonation is chemically carbonic acid. The only thing in the human body that nutralizes that is calcium. So... if you drink a lot of carbonated beverages without taking calcium you become short of calcium. The end result of a chronic shortage is weak bones.Hi,This sounds very odd.I guess if all you drank and consumed everyday was sparkling water it might, but I really dont think this is right. No offence to your aunt.Well, if she's a nurse you should listen to her, but I have never heard of water being dangerous for your health. It's suppose to make you more healthy. Its probably not as bad as she says, though I would suggest cutting back a little. I drink about that much in a week.never heard of that before. i've never had sparkling water before. i would google it or something and see what you can find. they may be some truth behind it. why would she make it up, its not like its pop or anything.I drink like 2-3 cans of Diet Coke a day - and that is exactly the same as sparkling water.... the only health issue is that it is carbonated and that can bloat your stomach. As long as you do excercise etc you'll be fine - I've never had a broken bone etc and haven't been ill as in sick in like a year. You are ok but make up for your lil 'addiction' lol with a healthy diet and exercise okay??? Have fun ;)It's not dangerous to drink sparkling water...don't worry about it.I know that soda leeches calcium from your bones, especially caramel colored soda (Coke, etc.)But, I don't think sparkling water would be that dangerous, since soda has a TON more junk in it than sparkling water.
Overactive Sebaccous glands?
[ 2008/04/06 20:45 | by webmaster ]
Can you have these on genitals? If you do, is there a way to get rid of it....the white bumps, and no it isnt an std and no isnt not herpesSabaceous glands or sweat glands are present where ever you have hairs. Of course you have hairs in your genital region and so have sweat glands there. If they are over active, they will be over active all over your body and not only in your genital region. Over active glands cause excessive sweating and excessive body odour. Check out for these details or see your doctor for confirmation.I believe you can have these on your genitals. Just try to keep the area clean, especialyl after sex, 'cause all those fluids will clog them.I don't know

grr i am having the worst cramps.. what should I do? I am 13!Yeah, my cramps are litterally cripling on the first day without meds. I can't even walk, sometimes I throw up. I took midol, but it didn't help. I tried ibuprofein last time, and finally that worked. I was so happy, you should try it too! And if that doesn't work, just lie in bed and listen to music ;).Avoid anything containing caffeine... try eating green apples.. also, try taking an advil or a midol and then take a shower and put the water pressure on the area of the cramping. Or try to take a nap if they get really bad so you don't have to deal with them for a whileexersize or you might be getting ready for your periods!me too i am 13 and have period and feel like crap!!use something warm against your tummy. I suggest either taking a hot bath or shower, or if you have one using a hot water bottle. Take some tylenol if you can, (ask your Mom first). Then when it starts to work, go for a walk. It might be the last thing you feel like doing, but believe me it works!Best of luck honey, I hope you feel better soon!midol, midol, midol. haha.lay down with a heating pad on your stomach and just relax and eat a healthy snack. apples and water, for example. no sugary and salty things, of course.hope i helped.eat a banana.they're the best for crampsheating pad. midol. and chocolate ice cream.Take Motrin, use a heating pad, stop whining.I found the best thing is to take a midol or two tylenol and just try to sleep or lay in bed with pillows all around you so you cant move with lots of blankets over you so your warm then for me they usualy go away or i fall asleep ..and they're gone when i wake up..lol Good luckheating pads and take a bath.
Is it still legel for me to sleep with my gf??

I dont have sex we jsut sleep togetherHow old are you? That's what matters...if she's really young, and you're really old...that'd be kind of weird. But if you're the same age, it's PERFECTLY fine...I guess thats legal. How old are you both. Not until you learn how to spell legal.
There are about 45 days between my menstrual cycles? Is this normal?
[ 2008/04/06 20:45 | by webmaster ]
Usually, menstrual cycles last between 21-35 days. 45 day is unusual but not necessarily abnormal. Some women's cycle may also be as short as 14 days. This also is unusual but not necessarily abnormal. It will be described as abnormal if it varies widely. If for example it is 20 days this month and 35 the next.Me too! And mine only last 3 days. It is a great schedule. And yes, according to the doc, it is normal. Don't let that schedule change! The normal period inbetween menstrual cycles is 28 days. You might want to see a doctor to make sure you're healthy.yes, and you'r extremely lucky, too.periods can stop from 20-40 days, so 45 isn't too bad. you should be lucky that you have so long inbetween, i have like 25 or so.Lucky! And yes, I think that's normal. As long as it has a regular cycle it's normal.
